Acrel  was established in 2003 and listed in 2012 with the stock code 300286. The company's headquarters is located in Shanghai with production base in Jiangyin, Jiangsu. Provide a comprehensive energy efficiency system solutions from system software to hardware, helping users achieve reliable, safe, and efficient energy use goals. Company's annual turnover is 180 million USD, 12% of annual sales revenue is invested in R&D. Acrel has 2,000 staff, including 450 R&D personnel.  In 2023, annual output reached 5 million units and currently 40,000 sets of energy efficiency systems are operating in various places.

The products have been successfully applied in projects such as the Kenya Telecom Tower Power Monitoring Project, the Tesla SH Factory Energy Management System Project, the Hong Kong Green School Energy Consumption System Project, the South Africa Apartment Electricity Prepaid Project, the CISCO USA Energy Management System Project, and more.

Jiangsu Acrel Electrical Manufacturing Co.,LTD., a production base located in Jiangyin City, Wuxi, is a pilot enterprise of Jiangsu Province.
